Free CT Diagnostic Center for Underprivileged &
Indigenous Communities
Project Costing Along With 1 Year Operation USD $ 352,900
Target Beneficiaries: Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, and uninsured/uncovered patients who cannot afford diagnostic imaging
Objective
Access to advanced medical imaging remains a major barrier for tribal and rural populations across Andhra Pradesh. While life-saving interventions for trauma, stroke, oncology, and pulmonary conditions depend heavily on Computed Tomography (CT), the out-of-pocket cost of 80-90 $ per scan pushes low-income families into medical debt or causes fatal treatment delays.
This project establishes a 100% Free CT Diagnostic Center & Teleradiology Network funded and sponsored by MDG Millennium International (USA). The center will provide prompt, zero-cost diagnostic scans and verified reporting to vulnerable populations, bridging the gap between local primary healthcare and tertiary care.
